This is a nice quiet neighborhood park. They have several covered eating areas for use. At current time the biggest one is undergoing some remodeling. Nice park to spend time with the family in the evenings and on the weekend. The playground area and bathrooms are in good condition but not centrally located.
I never knew about Smyrna park before a few weeks ago, but I have to admit that it’s a nice quiet place to go sit and think, or take the kids for a fun place to play. When I was there, there was some construction going on, but I’m not sure what they were building.
This is a huge park, capable of holding many events.. This particular day I went to a car show and barbecue.
Nice park , restrooms, lots of shade & picnic areas w bbq pits, horse shoe pit. Happened to see all this classic cars event.
We had the most amazing baby shower!!! Not crowded no problem. Clean bathrooms and a fun part for the kids
Nice place to sit and relax . Skate park, horse shoes, volley ball and a good play area for the kids. The bathrooms are the nicest I've ever seen.
There is a lot of playground equipment for kids and every time I've been there they have the bathrooms open (which is rare around here these days). Only 2 big kid swings though and a bunch of people go here. Also on a medium to high traffic area. Those are the only downfalls I saw.
This park is nice for children and adults. Bathrooms are usually clean. There is a small play structure and a bigger one as well. There is plenty of space to play on grass. This park also has a skating area. It is usually busy with adult men doing bike tricks or skateboarding. Or drinking alcohol. I dislike this area due to that but otherwise take my son so he can use his scooter. One star for the men who make skate area a not safe area for children.
